Why Organic Cotton

Organic cotton is free from artificial chemicals and pesticides. This creates healthier waterways, prevents soil contamination and non toxic farming communities. It takes 3 years for a farm to be certified as organic.

The seed and therefore the plant are also pure and not genetically modified. The soil in which the cotton grows is certified as organic matter, allowing the soil to regenerate and not be overfarmed.

Two main bodies that certify Organic cotton are OCS (Organic Content Standard) and GOTs (Global Organic Textile Standard).

Our first season of the "Spirited Lioness" drop we used certified organic cotton in our tee from OCS. Our tote bag from our special offers is also GOTs certified.
